Origin: American; her father is part Scottish, and her mother is one of the Hudson River Valley Dutch.
Powers: Jean is a telepath, and as such can sense, detect,and broadcast though patterns, and control others minds, to a certain extent. She also has telekinetic abilities to levitate objects.
Weakness: Jean is afraid of loosing anyone she knows. It stems from the death of her friend Annie when Jean was only 10.
Skills: Jean is not a very skilled chef at all, so it's probably best to keep her out of the kitchen. The only real skill she would claim is the ability to multitask.
Appearance: Jean is about 5'7", with red hair and green eyes.
Personality: She is very protective of those around her, with almost a motherly attitude at times. At other times she's in scientist mode, detached from the world around her. When on missions she's very focused, but still likes to relax every once in awhile.
History: Jean witnessed her best friend Annie's death at age ten, and was holding her when she died. This event triggered Jean's telepathic abilties, and she spent the next year in an almost catatonic state in a mental institution. Her father, having worked with Professor Xavier, contacted him, and Jean was taken to Xavier's newly formed school, to work on her abilities. She stayed there for a few years, before setting out to get her doctorate. After that, she returned to the mansion as it's resident doctor, and shared a room with her fiance Scott Summers until her 'death' at Alkali Lake.
